The Alpha House, 22 Pulaski
Street, Torrington, Connecticut is a men’s
sober living center with the primary purpose of
facilitating men in their transition to mainstream
life. Created with the needs and tastes of men
in mind, the home offers an environment that is
designed to provide the security and peace of mind
needed in his new beginning. During their stay
at the Alpha House members will have an opportunity
to achieve independence while continuing to focus
on their recovery.
The house has the capacity to hold 7 single men. There
are 7 single bedrooms and 1 double. New members
will be accepted from the facility or treatment
program after an informal interview. An in-house
manager will be present to ensure that all rules
will be strictly enforced. House members will be
required to obtain employment and attend 12-Step
meetings regularly.
A sober contract, list of the
house rules, grievance and fire and safety procedures
must be completed prior to acceptance.
